Dale A. Bischoff, 60, set constructor for Warwick H.S. productions, worked at Leffler Energy

Dale A. Bischoff, 60, of Lititz, passed away June 2, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Lancaster to Allan A. Bischoff married to Elizabeth A. (Kleinginna) Bischoff of Ephrata and the late Shirley A. (Miller) Bischoff and was the husband of Cynthia K. (Horton) Bischoff with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.

A graduate of Ephrata High School and first graduating Brownstown Vo-Tech class, he worked for Bob Lutz, SICO, and Leffler Energy for 43 dedicated years starting as a HVAC technician and retiring as an oil-delivery dispatch manager.

He had many talents he was willing to share with others. He could often be found helping at Hagy Auto Parts, his home away from home. He was a member of the Church of the Apostles in Lancaster and sang in the choir for 23 years. He was an integral part of the Warwick High School performing arts, and created many of the sets from the past 20 years.

He was a devoted father to four sons, and Pop Pop to four grandsons with a fifth grandchild soon to arrive. His sons are: Jeremy D. Bischoff, married to Tara L. (Ryan) Bischoff, of Ephrata; Jason S. Bischoff, married to Aimee L. Kumer, of Blue Bell; Joel E. Bischoff, married to Kristen M. (Pfeiffer) Bischoff, of Lititz; and Jared A. Bischoff, married to Kaitlin Q. (Kimmel) Bischoff, of Ephrata; grandsons: Alexander, William, Carter and Parker; siblings: Russell E. Bischoff of Detroit, Mich.; Gayle A. Bischoff of Reamstown; Lori A. (Bischoff) Robinson, wife of Ken Robinson, of Enid, Okla.; Lisa A. (Bischoff) Sweigart, wife of Randolph Sweigart, of Ephrata; Brian S. Bischoff married to Karen (Sigman) Bischoff of Lititz; J. Elaine (Michaels) Orler, married to Jeffrey Orler of San Diego, Calif.; and John A Michaels of Tucson, Ariz.; also an uncle: Carl Bischoff, of Queen Creek, Ariz.; along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Family visitation will be held Sunday, June 14, from 3 to 4 p.m., at the Church of the Apostles, 1850 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, followed by a celebration of life service at 4 p.m.

Memorial contributions to a music and theatre scholarship in Dale’s name can be made to The Warwick Warbler Parents Organization c/o Vocal Music Department, Warwick High School, 301 W. Orange St., Lititz, PA 17543.
