Cheryl A. (Leedom) Zink, 65, worked at New Standard, LCBC member, enjoyed trips to Cape May

Cheryl A. (Leedom) Zink, 65, of Manheim, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Leedom) Shank. Cheryl was the wife of Eugene D. Zink, with whom she celebrated 29 years of marriage this past Oct. 8.

Cheryl was previously employed at New Standard Corporation as a press operator. She also worked at East High Elementary School. She was a member of LCBC and enjoyed trips to Cape May, and gardening.

In addition to her husband: Eugene; Cheryl will be missed by her furry friends: Shadoe and Skyler, her dogs; and her cat, Stink. Also surviving is her sister: Stephanie Shank, wife of Joel of Elizabethtown; a nephew: Colton Shank; a niece; Cara Shank; and a great-niece: Mia.

A funeral service honoring Cheryl’s life will be held at LCBC, Mount Joy Road, Manheim, on Friday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. Use the plaza entrance in the rear of the church. Family and friends will be received at the church before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.
