Carole Lee Weaver, 72, of Lititz, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 13, 2014.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of Robert R. Weaver, Jr., and they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on September 22. She is the daughter of the late Robert L. and Viola N. Schlappich Ressler.

A 1960 graduate of Warwick High School, Carole most recently worked as a bank teller for Susquehanna Bank in Lititz, formerly known as Farmer’s First Bank. At one time, she worked for the school cafeteria at Lititz Elementary School; Intell Printing, and the former Warner Lambert. She is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Carole enjoyed her flower garden, was an avid reader of Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts; spent special time at Cape May, NJ; collected Longenberger baskets and Santa Claus figurines, and was a devout fan of Elvis Presley.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband; and son: R. Darin, husband of Heather E. Weaver, Harrisburg; two grandchildren: Cory and Ally Weaver; a brother: Lonney Ressler, Fort Collins, Colo.; two half sisters: Marlene, wife of John Nagle and Darlene, wife of Tim Sumner, all of Ephrata; her mother-in-law: Josephine M. Weaver, Lititz; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Her daughter: Renae D. Weaver, preceded her in death.

Relatives and friends are invited to Carole’s Life Celebration Service from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 W. Orange Street, Lititz, on Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. with The Rev. James R. Gable, Jr. officiating. The interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Dr., P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
