Bruce G. Hutcheon, 80, utility worker at Con Ed, USMC vet, family man, computer gamer

Bruce G. Hutcheon, 80, of Lititz, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
He was the husband of Phyllis Mowery Hutcheon, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage this past April 18. Born in Ridgewood, N.Y., he was the son of the late Robert A. and Bertha (Siegler) Hutcheon.
Bruce had worked as a utility worker for Con Edison of New York Electric Co. for 35 years.
He was a family-oriented man and was a supportive husband and great father. He enjoyed playing games on the computer, watching television, and was a handyman. Bruce was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Virginia Hutcheon of Matawan, N.J.; Karen Billone, wife of Anthony, of Central Islip, N.Y.; a son: Robert Hutcheon of Bayside, N.Y.; and his grandson: Erik Billone.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Hutcheon.
Services were held June 3 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, Lititz. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
