Billy Lee Vansickel, 29, Warwick H.S. grad, guitarist, songwriter, had a loving heart

Billy Lee Vansickel, 29, passed away Dec. 25, 2017, surrounded by loving family and friends at Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center, South Williamson, Ky., after a brief illness.

Born July 4, 1988, he was the loved son of Randy L. Vansickel, of Williamson, W.Va.; Dreama Vansickel, of Turkey Creek, Ky.; and stepmother Tracey McDonald of Reading.

In addition to his loving parents, Billy is survived by his sisters: Amanda Vansickel, New Jersey; Brittany (White) Crockett, Lancaster; Kelsey White, Lebanon; and a brother: Trevor White, Lititz.

He was adored by paternal grandmother: Nellie Hall, Williamson, W.Va.; and maternal grandparents: Bill and Rose Evans, Turkey Creek, Ky. Billy was preceded in death by paternal grandfather: Tommy Vansickel.

Billy had three loving uncles: Tommy, Jimmy, and Ricky Vansickel; and an aunt: Donna Chaffins. He was a proud uncle to: Dylan, Grayson, Trenton, and Piper. Billy is also survived by many extended family members, and friends, who greatly miss him.

Those of you who knew Billy, will remember his loving heart, gentle manner, and love for making others smile. He loved to play his guitar, going fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a talented artist and songwriter.

A service, celebrating the life of Billy will be held at a future date, to be determined. A memorial notice will be announced on Facebook on the page “Remembering Billy Vansickel.”
