Betty Shreiner, 81, Elvis fan, enjoyed playing bingo, and spending time with her family

Betty Shreiner, “Nan Nan,” 81, of Lititz passed away May 6, 2016, at Lancashire Hall under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County after a lengthy battle with multiple myeloma.

Born and raised in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Brenner.

Betty was an avid player of bingo held at St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching Elvis Presley movies, and listening to his music. She also enjoyed collecting owls and Tweety Birds. She loved spending time with her family and playing Triple Yatzee.

She is survived by a sister: Phyllis, wife of Chet Grenier, of Manheim; two daughters: Deb Shreiner of Lititz; and Cindy, wife of Gordon Johnson Sr., of Lititz; two sons, Ray Shreiner of Lititz, with whom she resided until 2013; and Tony, husband of Stef Shreiner, of Manheim; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Vernon Shreiner; a daughter: Tina Shreiner; two sisters: Ella Mae Houchin and Elva Ruhl; and a brother: Paul Brenner.

Services will be held at a later date.
