Betty J. Ressler, 83, worked at Super Shoes, her family was very important to her

Betty J. Ressler, 83, of Lititz, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at home under hospice care.

She was born in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Mary Hacker and stepfather Harry Hacker. She was married to Robert M. Ressler, who passed away in 1994.

Betty worked at Quality Carpet Center and Super Shoes, both of Lancaster. She was an avid Phillies fan; she enjoyed the beach, playing bingo, cards, and those occasional trips to Atlantic City or Hollywood casinos. The most important thing in her life was her family.

Surviving are her daughters: Linda Ressler of York; Susan Hossler of Neffsville; and Judy Habecker, married to Tom of Lititz. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Travis Hossler married to Heather; Troy Hossler, married to Tanya; Jennifer and Elizabeth Hossler; Abby and Sara Habecker; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son: Robert R. Ressler.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
