Bettielee Loemker, 86, passionate seamstress, Lititz Lioness, enjoyed traveling to France

Bettielee Loemker, 86, of Lititz, passed away on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at Keystone Villa, Ephrata.

She was born in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Edward and Magdelline (Subject) Wigner.

She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lititz. Bettielee was a seamstress, which was her passion. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Home Economics. She was a member of the Lititz Lioness Club, enjoyed reading, and wine. She loved Philadelphia and traveling, especially to France.

Bettielee is survived by two daughters: Lisa, wife of Edward Cunliffe of Lititz; Hilarie, wife of Scot Helsley of Manheim Township; and five grandchildren: Hannah, Maggie, Sarah, Jacob, and Joseph.

A memorial service was held Dec. 8 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lititz, with Pastor Robert Myallis officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
