Bertha M. Greth, 93, died of natural causes Saturday, Dec. 24, in her home.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Wolfe) Clouser. She was the wife of the late Warren W. Greth, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. They worked together as proprietors of Warren W. Greth Meats in Laureldale, retiring from the business in 1988.

Bertha was a member of Brickerville United Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed attending the Lititz Senior Center.

She is survived by her son: Dr. Warren E. Greth, husband of Barbara M. Greth, of Reinholds; her daughters: Patricia E. Bittler, wife of Dennis H. Bittler, of Lititz; and Barbara A. Davis, wife of the Rev. Scott K. Davis, of Lititz; along with her seven grandchildren; and 17½ great-grandchildren. Bertha is also survived by her brothers: Paul Jacob Clouser of Bernville, and Franklin Clouser of Birdsboro; and her sister: Carolyn Clements of Bernville.

Services were held Dec. 29 at Bean Funeral Home, Reading, with the Rev. Scott K. Davis officiating. Interment followed in Charles Evans Cemetery.
