Arline L. Kime, 94, former nurse, co-owned Parkesburg Arms hotel

Arline L. Kime, 94, of Lititz, passed away March 2, 2015 at Luther Care of Lititz.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur P. and Freda (Kessler) Leary. Arline was the wife of the late Sidney R. Kime Sr.

A graduate of Upper Darby High School, Arline was a graduate of Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at the Bryn Mawr Hospital for many years before retiring. She and her husband were also the owners of the Parkesburg Arms hotel in Parkesburg from 1981 to 2005. Arline loved her family and summer vacations in Ocean City, N.J.

Surviving are four children: Janis (Kime) Silver, wife of Larry, of Lake Worth, Fla.; Sidney Kime Jr., husband of Kathleen D., of Lititz; Gregory Kime, husband of Roseanne, of Atglen; and David Kime, husband of Arlene, of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother: Arthur P. Leary, husband of Lee, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Arline was preceded in death by a sister: Berneice Jensen.

Services were held March 6 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, Lititz. Interment was in the Radnor United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rosemont.
