Anna Mae Myers, 89, retired from Consumer Packing, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles

Anna Mae Myers, 89, of Manheim, formerly of Mount Joy, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, May 14, 2016.

She was the widow of John M. Myers, who died in 1996. Born in Highville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Georgianna (Butler) Tillman.

Anna Mae was a packer at Consumer Packing of Lancaster for 17 years before retiring in 1989. Anna Mae attended Calvary Bible Church of Mount Joy, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Surviving is a son: Larry E., husband of Theresa (Klugh) Myers, of Manheim; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister: Bessie Caldwell of Columbia; and a daughter-in-law: Nancy Myers of Mountville.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Jay Donald Myers; and four brothers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral services at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, May 19, at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. There will a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anna Mae’s memory may be sent to Caring Hospice Services, 101 Good Drive, Lancaster PA 17603.
