Lititz Borough Council said goodbye to Bre Wiczkowski June 30.

Wiczkowski served as junior council member to Lititz Borough for the past five months, offering a youthful perspective to local government. She was the seventh junior council member to serve since the program started in 2011.

A 2015 graduate of Warwick High School, Wiczkowski will attend Temple University in the fall, where she will major in social work and minor in cognitive neuroscience. She is also a competitive gymnast who has qualified for state and regional competitions.

“I want to thank all of you for this opportunity. It has been a great experience,” said Wiczkowski to the members of borough council, adding that she recently had the opportunity to spend the day at the state capitol in Harrisburg, serving as a page on the floor.

She was presented with a commemorative certificate from Lititz Mayor Tim Snyder.
