Talent show will feature area students

The Warwick High School CIA, Interact, and UNITE clubs are hosting a talent show at the Warwick Middle School auditorium, 401 Maple St., on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.

Performances include dancing, singing, and humor, along with the Mr. Four Diamonds Pageant and dance routines by seven sports teams. Will Mobley and Megan Bomba will be emcees for the evening.

Some of the acts already scheduled include:

Amelia Blevins and Noah Johnson performing “Anything You Can Do,” from Annie Get Your Gun;

Cup Speed Stacking, by Josiah Lapp;

Thillana Classical Indian Dance by Shohini Banerjee;

Angela Cordischi will play the Star Wars theme song on the piano; and

Michelle Gibble and Akash Banerjee will perform the infamous ‘dead parrot” sketch, by Monty Python.

Each of the ten Mr. Four Diamonds contestants will be lip synching and dancing. The audience will choose the winner.

The show will end with a number of different sports teams performing dance routines taught to them by the Warriorettes.

Tickets cost $7.50 prior to the show (sold during lunchtime at the schools) and $10 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Warwick MiniTHON.
