For the first time in more than 40 years, there will be a movie theater marquee in downtown Lititz. Atomic Design, part of the Rock Lititz family, has donated its time and talent to recreate the old Lititz Theatre marquee as part of this Saturday’s Hollywood fundraiser in the Clair cathedral at Broad and Orange streets. The marquee will soon be attached to the front of the old stone church building for all to see, a welcome sign to what is expected to be the party of the year. A few tickets are still available at Aaron’s Books. The fundraiser benefits Venture Lititz. The Lititz Theatre operated

on East Main Street from 1935 to 1965. It was demolished in 1974.
