New WellSpan Urgent Care opens near Lititz

Officials held a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony recently of a new WellSpan Urgent Care which opened its door to patients on Aug. 13.

This WellSpan Urgent Care Center, 101 W. Airport Road, is the third of five new offices opened for walk-in care seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Six exam rooms and two procedure rooms along with imaging equipment are available for non-emergency medical conditions from sore throats, coughs to back pains, rashes and burns.

“We’re excited to offer our high-quality urgent care services in this convenient location. This is all part of our commitment to making it as easy as possible for our friends and neighbors in Lancaster County to get the care they need, when they need it,” said Creston Tate, D.O., Wellspan medical director of urgent care.

Patients can utilize their smart phone, pc or tablet to “Reserve My Spot” to schedule an appointment. Patients can also check-in using the kiosk at the office. Patients can walk-in for care at ages 3 months and older. Some routine immunizations will be offered along with physical examinations for sports, school, camp or college physicals. There is parking for Plain patient’s buggies and a charging station for electric cars. WellSpan is a charitable organization with locations in Lancaster, York, and Adams counties.
