Making Lititz shine again

By on April 18, 2018

As part of the Great American Clean Up, the Warwick Girls Softball team will again partner with Venture Lititz for this year’s downtown cleanup on April 28 at 8 a.m.

Volunteers will meet at Lititz Borough Hall and then disperse to clean Broad Street from Orange Street to Lincoln Avenue and from the square to Cedar Street. Mark Hough, a Venture Lititz board member and Warwick Girls Softball head coach, said almost 60 people came together last year to collect more than 20 bags of trash from Orange Street to Lincoln on Broad Street, and Main Street from Broad to Cedar Street.

The softball team and Venture Lititz will provide gloves, trash bags and mulch, but volunteers are asked to please bring rakes, brooms and dustpans, as we never have enough of those items.
