By on September 7, 2016

Scouting allows children to discover new things, learn to overcome obstacles and ways to make the community a stronger and better place for everyone to live. Experience fun, friendship, service and community by joining a local Scout program on Scout Sign-up night.

On Wednesday, Sept. 14, Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, along with packs and troops from the Boy Scouts of America, will hold a Get Hooked on Scouting event from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Lititz Springs Park Scout Pavilion. The pavilion is located at the top of the park, near Warwick High School. Families interested in joining Scouting can park in the High School lot and join Scouts and Leaders at the pavilion for activities, information and register.

Girl Scouting is for girls in kindergarten through high school. Girl Scouts will take a journey that will focus on fun while building courage, confidence and character to become future leaders. For more Girl Scout information, visit
