Cruisin’ through Lititz

It may have been humid outside, but the vehicles were even hotter at the annual Lititz Lions Car Cruise on the evening of Aug. 15. There was literally something for everyone as over 200 cars, trucks, and street rods took to Main Street to be admired and photographed by the masses. While oldies music played in the background setting the mood, people of all ages met up with friends and neighbors, many reminicing about the days of cruising the loop in Lancaster in their souped-up V8s.

To cool the night down, the Good Humor Man, a.k.a. Mike Venezia, was also onhand with his vintage ice cream truck. Decked out in a full outfit, he dispensed frozen treats and popsicles to both kids and kids at heart.
