“The Odd Couple,” Neil Simon’s classic play about two mismatched roommates — the neat, uptight Felix Ungar; and the slovenly, easygoing Oscar Madison — debuts on June 11 at Ephrata Area Performing Arts Center, with shows through June 27.

Heralded as the biggest hit of Neil Simon’s career, “The Odd Couple” snatched up several Tony Awards and 964 performances after its 1965 Broadway debut, eventually earning a 1968 film adaptation starring Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, and a few years later, a television series featuring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman.

Directed by Tim Riggs, the play stars Bob Checchia as Oscar and Kevin Fisher as Felix. The cast is rounded out by Herbert Stump, Bruce Weaver, Rich Mehrenberg, Amy Carter, and Heidi Carletti.

Tickets can be purchased online at ephrataperformingartscenter.com, or by calling 733-7966.
