These colorful buildings can be found in downtown Havana, Cuba. The Rotary Club of Lititz will explore all the beauty of this country with many hidden surprises on Nov. 9.

The second presentation of the Rotary Club of Lititz 2019-20 Travel & Adventure Series will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Warwick High School Performing Arts Center, 301 W. Orange St., Lititz. There are two performances: a matinee at 2 p.m. with a musical prelude starting at 1:30 p.m., and an evening show at 7:30 p.m. with a musical prelude starting at 7 p.m.

“Cuba: On the Edge of Discovery” explores contemporary life and dynamic historical themes to develop the story of an island people with an indomitable spirit, pushed and pulled by forces that are often beyond their control. In spite of decades of strong-armed dictators and isolation, Cuba’s artists, ballet dancers, and baseball players compete on the world stage. And, if that’s not enough, Cuba enjoys a rich architectural patrimony befitting its status as a wealthy colonial center of power.

General admission tickets are sold at the door and cost $7 for adults and $3 for students. Season tickets are $35 for adults and $12 for students. They can be purchased from any Rotary Club of Lititz member or from the Lititz Public Library.
