Warwick High School Music Department is bringing Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” to their Performing Arts Center stage, 301 W. Orange St., on Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m.

Based on the famous animated film, Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea. The beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric and bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But, the bargain is not what it seems and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab, to restore order under the sea.

Tickets can be purchased online at warwicksd.org (click on the “The Little Mermaid” button). Online ticket sales will be available until March 10.

Tickets are also available in person at the Warwick Performing Arts Center lobby between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on March 1, 8, and 10.

Tickets will also be available for purchase 75 minutes before each show time, based on availability.
