Gus’s Keystone Restaurant for a Sweet Mother’s Day

One of the best ways to show Mom how much you care is to give her something sweet and delicious at Gus’s Keystone Family Restaurant in Ephrata.

Mother’s Day at Gus’s is a family celebration, with everyone’s favorite entrees and an array of sweet desserts like orange dreamsicle cake, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, layered black and white cups with mousse and a cherry on top, coconut cream pie, lemon sponge pie, shoofly pie, Sweets1chocolate fudge cake and wonderful miniature gourmet dessert cakes in flavors like chocolate cookie, cannoli and tiramisu.

Of course, as Mom always told you, you can’t have dessert until you eat your dinner. And what a great dinner Gus’s has in store for the whole family. The special Mother’s Day menu features juicy prime rib, broiled salmon, duck with orange sauce, sugar ham with pineapple raisin sauce, stuffed chicken breast, roast turkey and roast beef. There are also selections from the regular menu. Mother’s Day reservations are highly recommended, especially if you have a larger group.

At Gus’s Keystone Family Restaurant, the emphasis is on “family.” You always feel welcome by Gus’s family, which includes Gus Kourgelis, his wife Eleni, daughters Lemonia (Lem) and Evangelia (Lia), and son-in-law Dino Papazekos. The Kourgelis family has its original Gus’s in Mount Joy and opened its Ephrata location last spring to rave reviews.

“We always have a member of the family here,” says Gus.

Located right across from K-Mart, at 3687 Rothsville Road, people of all ages come for great breakfasts, tasty lunch and dinners, and the warm friendly greeting they always receive.
