One-night performance at EPAC

By on November 8, 2017

“Clybourne Park,” a play in two acts, will be performed as a staged reading at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center, in partnership with Theater of The Seventh Sister, on Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. The theater is located at 320 Cocalico St., Ephrata.

Directed by Jeremiah Miller, the reading will feature actors Evan Cooper, Cynthia Charles, Erika Eberly, Josh Dorsheimer, Benjamin Roberts, Paul Hood, and Mary Huff.

Written by Lorraine Hansberry, the play picks up where “A Raisin in the Sun” ended, chronicling the history of the home in Chicago where the original play is set. It provides a surprising glimpse into how drastically race relations have shifted in the past 50 years, and even more surprisingly, how some have not.

Tickets to this EPAC on the Edge production cost $15; seats are not reserved. They can be purchased at ephrataperformingartscenter.com or by calling the box office at 717-733-7966.
