Forty businesses have rolled out the welcome mat this year for the tour, set for Oct. 10 through 26. Although most will remain secret until the tour is initiated, it has been divulged that Mill 72 Bake Shop and Cafe in Manheim is one of the tour stops.

Tour participants travel in their own vehicle, visiting the featured stops. Every business is offering a valuable coupon and will have something special planned for visitors &tstr; refreshments, games, gifts, demos, tours, make and take projects, live music and more. Take the tour in one day or 16; the ticket is valid the entire time.

The first 2,000 people to purchase tickets will also receive a free goody bag containing promotional items or small treats from the businesses. Every ticket contains a tour guide that lists the name, address and description of each business, a map to get patrons around, the calendar of extra events and coupons from each business, and entry forms/rules to take part in tour drawings for chances to win over $1,000 in gift cards.

Tickets cost $10 each, with $1 per ticket sold donated to CASA of Lancaster County. To purchase a tour ticket, visit bestkeptsecretstour.com, or call 717-721-9409.
