Linden Hall School for Girls will present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 8, and Saturday, April 9; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10.

The show follows a group of six socially challenged kids, joined on-stage by a hand-selected group of audience spellers to vie for spelling bee glory. This Tony-award winning musical has quickly become one of the go-to musicals for high school performing arts groups around the country. With nightly interaction between audience and performers, each performance uniquely looks at relationships between kids and kids, parents and kids, and society at large.

Tickets are currently on sale by e-mailing dforeman@lindenhall.org. Include name, number of tickets, and a phone number for verification.

The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for students and children. (”Bee” is a satire and its humor may be lost on very young children.) Doors to the theatre will open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
