Journey to Spain and Portugal

The first Rotary Club  of Lititz travelogue of the season is headed to Spain and Portugal on Sept. 7. Each travelogue presentation is held at the Warwick High School Performing Arts Center, 301 W. Orange St., Lititz.  There are two performances:  A matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening show at 7:30 p.m. Musical preludes start 30 minutes prior to each show.

John Marlin Darrah as he takes adventurers to Spain and Portugal. Experience the unending history that has occurred throughout these countries and 12 of their iconic cities. Highlights include Lisbon and its baroque architecture, Sintra’s royal palace, the Rock of Gibraltar, Barcelona and its lovely Mediterranean beaches, and more.

Other travelogues this season will include:  “Cuba: On the Edge of Discovery”  on Nov. 9;  “Bhutan: The Cloud Kingdom” on Jan. 4;  “China: Beyond the Wall” on  Feb. 8;  “Venture to Alaska, on March 21; and  “Pearls of the Caribbean” on April 4.

General admission tickets are sold at the door only and cost $7  for adults and $3 for students. Season tickets are $35  for adults and $12 for students.  They can be purchased from any Rotary Club of Lititz member or from the Lititz Public Library.   All of the net funds from these activities are given to over 30 non-profit service groups each year, as well as providing college loans and scholarships to many local students.
