Irish dance school to perform at WHS

A showcase of Irish dance and culture is coming to the Warwick High School auditorium Saturday, March 28, with two shows at 2:30 and 6 p.m. The high school is located at 301 W. Orange St., Lititz.

The Hooley School of Irish Dance brings a combination of traditional and original choreographies focusing on the theme “The Road Home.” The talent ranges from age four to adults including nationally-ranked competitive dancers of all ages.

The school of more than 150 students trains dancers for recreation and competition-level dancing. The school welcomes those new to Irish dance and also fosters dance talent that has competed at regional, national and international competitions in Canada, England, and Ireland. Three students qualified to compete in the 2015 World Irish Dance Championships in Montreal this April.

The mission of the school is to cultivate character and excellence through a supportive community and learning environment.
