Director Lori Jo Whitehaus (center) will be offering singing lessons for women at rehearsals of Vocal Harmonix chorus. Participants can sing with the chorus on-stage at the Ware Center in December.

Vocal Harmonix, a women’s acappella entertainment group based in Lancaster County, is offering women of all ages a unique opportunity to perform with them at the Ware Center this December.

The event provides a chance for women curious about the chorus to spend a little time with them, and then sing on stage as the group presents the holiday show “Listen…Remember…Believe!” at the Ware Center on Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. The show also features the Red Rose Men’s Chorus.

Any woman who loves to sing and loves to perform can be part of the show’s finale when the two choruses sing in eight-part harmony. Simply attend four 30-minute classes at the Vocal Harmonix rehearsal site at Lancaster Church of the Brethren and learn a part.

Rehearsals will be held at 7 p.m. (please arrive at 6:45 p.m.) on Mondays, Nov. 12, 19, 26; and Dec. 3. Lancaster Church of the Brethren is located at 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster.

There is a nominal fee of $10, which covers materials for all four sessions. For those who decide to join Vocal Harmonix, the $10 will be applied toward the membership dues.

Pre-registration is encouraged; call Michele at 717-625-2279. To learn more, visit vocalharmonix.org, or find them on Facebook.
