Five dollar tickets support local education initiatives

The Warwick Education Foundation is sponsoring its eighth Annual Family Movie Night (FMN) at Penn Cinema Tuesday, March 31, at 6 p.m.

“Home,” a newly released animated movie from DreamWorks, is the feature presentation. The Warwick community is invited to attend this fun-filled evening. Tickets are on sale now on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Family Movie Night has become a tradition for local residents. It’s an opportunity for family and friends to spend time together watching a newly-released movie at a lower cost.

“We believe this movie will appeal to the entire family,” stated Dan Doremus, FMN chair, “and we appreciate the continued support of Penn Cinema by reserving all 14 theaters for this popular event. We also welcome Sauder’s Eggs as this year’s event sponsor.”

“Home” is about Oh, an alien misfit who lands on Earth and forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, they discover the true meaning of the word “home.” The movie is rated PG.

Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at all Warwick elementary school offices, the Warwick district office, Lititz Public Library, and Lititz recCenter. Tickets will be sold at Penn Cinema on March 31 only if tickets are still available.

Tickets can also be purchased online by accessing the foundation’s website, WarwickEF.org, and clicking on “Family Movie Night Info & Tickets.” Tickets purchased by credit card will be available at the will call table in the Penn Cinema lobby beginning at 5 p.m. the night of the event.

Family Movie Night is hosted and supported by Penn Cinema. Sponsors include Sauder’s Eggs, McElroy Pharmacy, Owl Hill Learning Centers, Sechan Electronics, Rohrer’s, Shultz Transportation Company, Jeff and Jane Tennis, Bomberger’s Store, La Piazza, Luthercare, Roma Pizza, and Scooter’s.

The money raised during this event helps fund the Innovative Education Grants, Expert in Residence Programs, and computer technology provided by the WEF. For more information about the Warwick Education Foundation, visit WarwickEF.org or contact info@WarwickEF.org.
