The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre will stage “Buddy — The Buddy Holly Story” through Nov. 11.

Before the Beatles or the Stones ever played a note, rock and roll was brought to life by Buddy Holly. The musical takes the audience back to Lubbock, Texas, to see how this bespeckled kid with his humble country roots changed popular music forever. Relive the life of a legend as you watch Buddy backstage and at the recording studio.

The show features songs like “Not Fade Away,” “Peggy Sue,” “Words of Love,” “Oh Boy,” “Maybe Baby,” “Peggy Sue Got Married,” “Heartbeat,” “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore,” “Rave On,” “Johnny B. Goode,” and more.

Making his Dutch Apple debut in the roll of Buddy Holly is Kyle Jurassic. Some of Jurassic’s previous credits include Rock of Ages, Grease, and The Wedding Singer.

Ticket prices range from $53 to $63, with group discounts available for parties of 16 or more. To purchase, call 717-898-1900 or visit DutchApple.com. The venue is located at 510 Centerville Road, Lancaster.
