A downtown party you don’t want to miss

By on June 1, 2016

Dig in to local flavors this Friday night, rain or shine.

Taste of Lititz, sponsored by Moravian Manor and Warwick Woodlands, starts at 5 p.m. June 3, and while it may be cliché, there truly is something fun for everyone at this downtown party.

From the Square to the Historical Foundation, East Main Street will be bustling with sweet and savory tastes from local restaurants, your favorite craft beers and regional wines, live music, original artwork, silly games, and roaming entertainers.

Food, libations and festival games are pay as you go. The music and atmosphere are free for all to enjoy. All proceeds support the ongoing downtown improvement efforts of the non-profit Venture Lititz.

Food and beverage vendors include Rooster Street Butcher, Chilango’s, Cafe Chocolate, Appalachian Brewing Company, JoBoy’s, Bulls Head Public House, Scooter’s, Tomato Pie Cafe, Spill, Renewal Kombucha, A Tea Affair, Isabella’s Ice Cream, Isaac’s Deli, JB Kelly, Julius Sturgis, Roma Pizza, Stargazer, Sugar Whipped, Waltz Vineyards, Zest, and Dragonfly Cafe.

Live music performances spaced throughout the downtown area include Matt Wenger, Tonic for Dogma, the Lititz Community Band, and Melvin and the Overtones. Barbershop and string quartets are also in the mix.

There will also be a silent auction and a community art gallery that will fuse with a special art exhibit at Lititz Historical Foundation.

Oh, and expect a few surprises during the evening. See you at the party Friday night!
