Indie Acoustic Artist of the Year coming to Eicher

The Eicher Arts Center is very excited to bring a soulful, Rock-Americana artist from northeast Pennsylvania who is known as a skillful and well-rounded master of both acoustic and electric guitar to its intimate stage for the final performance of the Coffee House Series on Saturday, March 28.

Eicher’s new series showcases exceptional singer/songwriters from the region, performing original music in an intimate and beautiful setting. The ticket price of $8 (or $6 for Eicher members) will include a coffee and tea bar compliments of Javateas Gourmet Coffee café, other beverages; as well as a Sweet Table sponsored by Intermezzo by Stephanie.

The March 28 event features a rare Lancaster County appearance by guitar virtuoso Mike (MiZ) Mizwinski. Mike is a favorite of the summer festival circuit and a two-time winner of the Tri-State Indie Award for Best Acoustic Artist. He has opened for the likes of the Derek Trucks Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Blues Traveler, Shawn Colvin, Lyle Lovett, Leon Russell and Railroad Earth. His music has also been featured on the hit FX TV show “Sons of Anarchy.” Mike’s music is upbeat Americana, incorporating blues, bluegrass, rock and folk elements; and focuses on themes of love, loss, redemption, addiction and recovery, an the simple joys of life.

The historic Eicher Arts Center is located at 409 Cocalico St., in Ephrata’s Tom Grater Park. The show will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30. BYOB welcome for those over 21. Reservations are suggested, as seating is limited.
