Music on Main Combo will perform lively renditions of traditional Dixieland, swing and jazz tunes on May 7, at 2 p.m., at the Eicher Arts Center in Ephrata.

Admission is free to the concert at the Eicher House, 409 Cocalico St. in Ephrata Borough’s Grater Park. Refreshments will be provided.

Leon Hillard, leader of the Music on Main Combo, said the band will play tunes such as “Ain’t She Sweet,” “5 feet 2, Eyes of Blue,” and “It’s a Wonderful World,” that spark audience members to smile and tap their feet. The show will also include a medley of patriotic music honoring the nation’s armed services.

Hillard is an adjunct trumpet professor at Elizabethtown College. He also teaches at the Music on Main business in New Holland that his son, Blake Hillard, another member of the combo, owns.

Also performing at the show will be Calli Graver, vocalist, an adjunct professor at the Community College of Philadelphia; Ron Woomer, saxophone and clarinet; George Yellak, guitar; Jim Zeigler, trombone and Frank Portaro, string bass.

The non-profit Eicher Arts Center Inc. is hosting the show as part of its series of Sunday afternoon entertainment and cultural events at the historic Eicher House near Cocalico Creek. Donations to the Eicher Arts Center will be accepted.
