Beer fans will flock to Mount Hope Estate in Manheim on Saturday, May 14, for unlimited beer sampling, free food and live music. It’s a celebration of all that is ale at the eighth annual BrewFest at Mount Hope featuring over 60 microbreweries from across America sampling their finest trademark ales and seasonal favorites.

BrewFest salutes microbreweries who have transformed their love of beer into a passionate business. The list of participating breweries includes many local PA favorites and breweries from the East and West coasts. The festival is separated into two sessions, each lasting four hours in length. The first session is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the second is from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Beer fans can sample and learn about a variety of beers ranging from lagers to pilsners, porters to stouts, fruit beers to wheat beers and everything in between.

Admission to Brewfest includes a logoed sampling glass, sponsored by Brewfest’s Official Media Sponsor, The River 97.3. Guests will have the opportunity to sample over 150 beers and ciders and enjoy complimentary food from all-you-can-eat food booths scattered throughout the venue.

Entertainment will be provided by The Coteries, The Gage Brothers, Great Big House, Mark DeRose & The Dreadnought Brigade, Silver City Rodeo, and Vulcans.

BrewFest raises money for the Central PA Food Bank through an annual raffle during the two sessions.

Tasting tickets are limited and are $45 in advance and $50 at the gate. An unlimited number of designated driver tickets are available and are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased online at or by calling the box office at 665-7021 x231.
