Is your beard as amazing as Willi Chevalier’s? He was a former winner of the Partial Beard Freestyle Category at the World Beard and Moustache Championships in Brighton. Bring your beard or ‘stache to Bube’s on Feb. 17 and show it off for a good cause.

Bube’s Brewery, 102 N. Market St., Mount Joy, will host its first annual beard and mustache competition for charity, benefiting Aaron’s Acres. Promising to be one of the most amazing charity facial hair competitions in Pennsylvania, the event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m.

Prizes and awards will be presented to winners in the following categories: Full Beard Natural, Beard with Styled Mustache, Mustache, Freestyle, Partial Beard, and Ladies’ Faux Hair.

Representatives from The Black Comb Barber Shop in Lancaster will judge the event. At the end of the contest, the first-place winners from each category will be voted on by the crowd with the loudest applause signifying the winner.

The event is free to spectators and $15 for contestants. Proceeds will go to Aaron’s Acres. Prizes will be determined the day of the show, as more sponsors are being added. Prizes include gift cards, bar tabs, facial hair products, t-shirts, stickers, and more. Food and drinks will be available. Donations will be accepted the day of the event. Live music will be provided by recording artist Shine Delphi.
