Art Show will benefit young painter

Ceanna Davis, a 13-year-old artist who has been dabbling in art since age 2 and painting since age 7, was recently accepted to attend a college-level Advanced Visual Arts Camp Program at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
Ceanna will be holding an art show fundraiser in order to raise money to help pay for the program, which costs in excess of $5,000 to attend.
The art show will be held Saturday, May 23, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Elva’s Barnyard Art Studio & Gallery, located at 1519 Brunnerville Road, Lititz.
In addition to auctioning off some of her artwork — which can be viewed at ceannardavis.yolasite.com — Ceanna is also auctioning off an art lesson, a face painting party, a tablet, and more. Also being auctioned is a one-night stay and a $100 gift card for dinner/drinks at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. and a one-night stay in the General Sutter’s Rock Lititz Penthouse suite, with dinner for two. Most items will be sold by Chinese auction. There will be numerous baskets. Entertainment will be provided by “Chalk Talk” artist, Elva Hurst.
“My dream is to learn as much as I can and travel the world as an artist,” says Ceanna. “Thank you in advance for any consideration to donating any amount, or just sharing this story to help make my dreams come true.”
Those unable to attend, but still wishing to help fund Ceanna’s education, can visit gofundme.com/72brw0. More information about Ceanna’s show can be found at facebook.com/Ceannasartshow.
