Angie Smith exhibit inspired by local landscapes

By on April 6, 2016

The creations of Lititz artist Angie Smith will be on display at the United Zion Retirement Community art gallery from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily during the month of April. UZRC is located at 722 Furnace Hills Pike.

“As a native of Lancaster County, I have been surrounded by the inspiring countryside my whole life,” says Smith. “My art is often influenced by the unique beauty of the changing seasons within the landscapes of this place I call home.”

Smith’s father, Rick Straub, was a professional sign painter and artist. He shared his talent and passion with her at a young age, and she has found her own artistic outlet in landscape painting and printmaking. Smith continues to be ever inspired by light, seasons, and simple joys.
