2nd Friday shenanigans

The theme of 2nd Friday, March 8, was St. Patrick’s Day. Downtown businesses on Main and Broad streets were open from 5 to 9 p.m., and food vendors, nonprofits, and musicians took to the streets.

Photographer Mikayla Elliot hit the streets, too, and took photos of revelers, entertainers, and the sights at Appierances, Café Chocolate, Cherry Acres, Zest!, Sweet Legacy Gourmet and Tiger’s Eye.

Troubador Rob Reese and hoofers from Hooley School of Irish Dance provided entertainment, and shops were decorated for both St. Paddy’s Day and Easter.

2nd Friday is a year-round, family-friendly event in Downtown Lititz. It is a rain or shine event on the second Friday of each month. Follow the Downtown Lititz Facebook page to stay up-to-date on the events for evening.

Appierances owner and stylist Valerie Roberts works on Linda Snavely. She’s been a client since Appierances opened its doors in 1988.
