They Look Fabulous!

Tickets still available for popular fundraiser
The Late Night with Venture Lititz fundraiser is just around the corner. The replica of the old Lititz Theatre marquee will be erected at Broad and Orange streets next week, and party-goers are working on their “Fabulous ‘50s” costumes.
Tickets are still available, and all proceeds support Venture Lititz and its ongoing effort to improve the downtown area.
The Record bumped into a group of goofballs known as the Gutterballs earlier this week. Bill Flickinger, Rich Felton, Shawn Houchin and Mike Hess are donning classic bowling garb for the party. They said word on the street is that get-ups could include everything from Doris Day to President Ike Eisenhower.
The $85 ticket price includes catering by the General Sutter Inn, live music by Mamma Tried, open bar, lots of ‘50s-themed activities, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re supporting the community.
A limited number of tickets are still available at Borough Hall, Aaron’s Books, or by calling 626-6332.
