Trayers celebrate golden anniversary

Tom and Kathy (Glauner) Trayer recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 18, 1965, by Rev. Dr. Carl Agan, at the Bethlehem Methodist Church, in Thornton. They are residents of Moravian Manor in Lititz.

Tom served in the U.S. Army and is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. He retired from Sperry New Holland (now CNH Industrial) and is currently working part time at the Lancaster County Courthouse. Kathy is a graduate of Lankenau School of Nursing, Philadelphia. Her entire career was spent as an OBGYN registered nurse at St. Joseph and General Hospitals, and at a private practice at the time of her retirement.

The Trayers have two children: Tom, and wife Jodi, reside in Elizabethtown and have two children: Zachary and Nichole; Barbara, and husband Rob, reside in Glen Rock, N.J., and have three children: Matthew, Miles and Mia.

Tom and Kathy’s family are the focus of their lives. They also enjoy politics, reading and travel. They celebrated their anniversary in the company family and friends.
