Tracy E. Ruhl, 41, of 1 West Church Street, Apt. 3, Reamstown, formerly of Lititz, died at his home unexpectedly on Monday morning, July 7, 2008.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of Elmer E. and Corissa J. Tome Ruhl of York.

Tracy was a 1985 graduate of Hempfield High School. During the Persian Gulf War, he served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Conyngham DDG-17. He was employed as a gang watchman by Farfield Company in Lititz for the last 18 months.

 He attended Faith Bible Fellowship in Lancaster where he had played on the church softball team. He was also an avid bowler and bowled on the Columbia and Rocky Springs Traveling Leagues. He also collected white Bengal tiger items and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jonathan M. Ruhl of Lancaster; Anthony L. Ruhl of Reamstown; a daughter, Christina M. Ruhl of Farrell, Pa.; a sister, Donna A., wife of Roger Roseberry of Lancaster; four brothers, Larry E., husband of Toni Ruhl of Lancaster; Rick E., husband of Julie Ruhl of Lititz; Scott E., husband of Michele Ruhl of Landisville; and Craig E., husband of Cynthia Ruhl of York; and the mothers of his children, Elizabeth Anne Toomey Starr of Lancaster Twp. and Glenna Jo Scarberry Ruhl of Farrell.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening, July 22, at 7 p.m. at Faith Bible Fellowship, 151 Donnerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603 with Pastor David A. Thomann officiating. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family requests that flowers please be omitted. If desired contributions may be made to the building fund of Faith Bible Fellowship.
