Mr. Clausen retiring after 35 years at Kissel Hill Elementary
LITITZ, PA
- Kissel Hill teacher Tom Clausen hurried downstairs to what he thought was a last minute faculty meeting. To his surprise, however, he found his co-workers anxiously awaiting his arrival. There was one seat left, carefully placed in between the boys and girls bathrooms. Above the chair, hung a large green piece of construction paper. “Have a seat, Mr. Clausen,” said Principal Brian Troop, standing behind a podium. “I was a little nervous about speaking today, so I have a few notes.”
