- How often do you see a letdown game follow an emotional win? Coming off of its big Homecoming victory over Reading, that’s what Warwick was up against last Friday night against Hempfield.

Barons top Ephrata for 7th win
LITITZ, PA
- On paper, last Friday night’s game between Manheim Central and Ephrata appeared to be a mismatch.
The Barons’ offense was averaging a Section Two-best 384 yards per game, and the Mounts defense was ranked last while allowing 358 yards to their opponents.

Township outduels Warwick
LITITZ, PA
- The walk from Manheim Township’s field to his team’s locker room at the end of last Friday night’s game did nothing to make Warwick coach Bob Locker feel any better.
With his Warriors hoping to bounce back from a loss to Wilson in their Section One opener, Locker was still upset at what might have been.

Zwatty, Carson win Pretzel Twist titles
LITITZ, PA
- With Bob Dressler and Mike Vidumsky no-shows at last Saturday’s Lititz Pretzel Twist Five-Miler, Mike Zwatty knew that his chances to win improved dramatically.
Dressler and Vidumsky went 1-2 last year, more than two minutes in front of Zwatty.

Warriors reclaim George Male Trophy
Resch throws 3 TD passes, Warriors run for 336 yards in 39-18 win over Mounts
LITITZ, PA
- Bob Locker has seen the highs and the lows in Warwick’s rivalry with Ephrata.
In his first two years as Warwick’s skipper, his Warriors outscored the Mounts 88-7 while winning the George Male Trophy, which is awarded annually to the winner of this game.
