Moravian youth to attend Convo
14 leave for Canada this Friday
LITITZ, PA - Fourteen youth members of the Lititz Moravian Congregation, along with two adult chaperones, will be leaving on Friday, July 1, for a week of Christian fellowship with their peers from across the U.S. and Canada.

Picnic at St. Paul
LITITZ, PA - St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, is hosting a church picnic and carnival on Sunday, June 12, beginning at 12 noon.

Barbecue and hot dogs will be provided for all who attend. Festivities will also include kids games, a cake walk, moon bounce, and pony rides for children ages six and under.

Hopeland homecoming this Sunday
LITITZ, PA - Hopeland United Methodist Church will celebrate its 80th annual Homecoming Day on Sunday, June 5, with a youth/adult Sunday school session at 9 a.m. and worship at 10:10 a.m.

Celebrate music this Sunday
LITITZ, PA - The Lititz Church of the Brethren will present Music Celebration Sunday on Sunday, May 22 during the 11 a.m. worship service.

The Adult Choir will sing five anthems, including: “Be Joyful and Sing To The Lord” by Jay Althouse, “Spirit of God” by John Carter, “Go Out and Tell” by David Lantz, “Lord, Here Am I” by John Ness Beck, and “Har I Hear The Harps Eternal,” arranged by Alice Parker.

‘Angels Everywhere’ set for May 7
LITITZ, PA - In 1762, a Brethren teenager of the White Oak congregation in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, said she saw angels.

In 1763, the Brethren called a meeting to figure out what to do about her.

The congregation extended wedding blessings to Daniel Bollinger and Wendy King, who were married on March 26.

LITITZ, PA - Congratulations were extended to Dorothy “Dottie” Witmer, Mary “Molly” Baer, and Susan Kroeck, recipients of the 11th Annual Mildred L. Bender Memorial Fund Awards, at a luncheon on March 7 at Moravian Manor, 300 W. Lemon St.
