Patricia A. Miller, 81, Warner Lambert lab tech, Salem UMC organist, enjoyed going out with friends

Patricia A. Miller, 81, of Manheim, died peacefully Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at the Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Tremont, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Harry M. and Ethel Miller Tobias.

For more than 20 years, Pat worked as a lab technician for Warner Lambert in Lititz. An active and faithful member for more than 63 years at Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim, Pat served as the church organist for over 25 years. Pat studied piano and organ at Wolfe Music Institute, Lancaster; and at Linden Hall, Lititz; and later taught music privately in her home. Pat volunteered for Hospice and Community Care for several years. She was a 1952 graduate of Manheim Central High School. Pat’s interests included music, cooking, and going out with her friends.

Surviving are three granddaughters: Angela Rubin of Santa Monica, Calif.; Kayla Bixler and Brandalyn Bixler, both of Holtwood, and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are an adopted son and daughter.

Services were held Nov. 10 at Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. Interment followed in Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery, Rapho Township.
