Michael P. Kozlosky, 79, Army vet, Manheim Township H.S. guidance counselor, Steelers fan

Michael P. Kozlosky, 79, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 2, 2016.

Born in Patton, he was the son of the late Charles and Eva (Malynczak) Kozlosky. Mike was the husband of Michaline (Chesonis) Kozlosky, and they celebrated their 39th anniversary on July 22.

A veteran, Mike served in the United States Army. He was a guidance counselor for Manheim Township High School. Mike and Michaline attended St. James Catholic Church, Lititz. He enjoyed all sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Surviving in addition to his wife: Michaline; is a brother: Theodore Kozlosky; two sisters: Grace Krug and Helen Vida; sister-in-law: Theresa Glance, wife of John; brothers-in-law: Larry Chesonis, husband of Corleen; and David Chesonis, husband of Chris; nieces: Suzie, Maryann, Britany, and Lisa; nephews: Ted Jr., Gregory, Davy Jr., and Tom; many grandnieces and grandnephews; and numerous great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

In addition to Mike’s parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Walter Kozlosky; and a sister: Eva Kozlosky.

Services were held Aug. 9 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Sykesville. Interment followed at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery with full military honors.
