Mary K. Ditzler, 99, devoted mother, longtime Faith UCC member, library volunteer

Mary K. Ditzler, 99, of Lititz, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Audubon Villa.

Born in Kulpmont, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Leona (Zyscoski) Klimaszewski. She was the wife of the late William C. Ditzler.

Mary spent most of her life being a devoted wife and mother raising her family. She was a longtime faithful member of Faith United Church of Christ in Lancaster where she volunteered in many ways. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Lancaster County Public Library for many years and enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by three daughters: Lee Thomas, wife of Mike, of Lititz; Anita Brown of Ephrata; Betty Hoar, wife of Pete, of Lititz; a son: Terry Ditzler, husband of Audrey Reedy, of Lancaster; two stepdaughters: Louise Stauffer, wife of Ted, of Harrisburg: June Simmons, wife of Ira, of Ephrata; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister: Violet Ignatovich, of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson: W. Donald Ditzler.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 at Faith United Church of Christ, 1204 Wabank Road, Lancaster, with Pastor John Rieker officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lititz, at 3 p.m.
