Mary C. Eshleman, 86, UZRC resident, formerly of Ephrata, homemaker, mother of five

Mary C. Eshleman, 86, a resident of United Zion Home in Lititz, formerly of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

Her husband, the late Christian Z. Eshleman, passed away July 26, 2004, after 58 years of marriage. Mary was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late John H. and Alice (Leonard) Smith.

She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Ephrata and was a homemaker.

Surviving are five children: Rosemary, wife of Jack Miller, of Lititz; Christian Z. Eshleman Jr., husband of Janet, of Denver; Alice, wife of Herbert Richwine of Lititz; Robert E. Eshleman, husband of Kathi, of Williamsburg; and Kevin J. Eshleman, husband of Shirley, of Ephrata; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and sister: Jennie McBride of Ephrata.

Funeral services were held at Grace Fellowship Church, Ephrata, on April 6, with the Rev. Frank D. Rice officiating. She was buried in Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
