Margaret A. Kissinger, 86, worked at The Car Shop, St. Paul’s UCC member, enjoyed picking strawberries

Margaret A. ‘Marge’ Kissinger, 86, of Manheim, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Conestoga View, Lancaster.

Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late J. Nevin and Violet Hildebrecht Blum. She was the wife of the late Paul K. Kissinger, who died in 1978.

Marge retired after 25 years at The Car Shop, Manheim. She also worked for Adcock Brothers Inc. and the former Shaub’s Laundromat, Manheim. Marge was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim. Her interests included reading, telephone conversations, and picking strawberries.

Surviving are seven nieces and two nephews.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by two brothers: James and Donald Blum; and three sisters: Mildred Edgar, Isabel Dyer, and Eleanor Birchess.

Services were held Aug. 29 at Buch Funeral Home, Manheim. Interment followed in Manheim Fairview Cemetery.
