Lucy Parks Scott, 85, worked at Raymark Industries, St. Paul’s UCC member, enjoyed making bread

Lucy Parks Scott, 85, of Manheim, died peacefully Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at Linden Village, Lebanon.

Born in Blairs Mills, she was the daughter of the late Dolph and Clarice Diven Parks. Lucy was the loving wife of the late Harold C. Scott, who died in April 2011.

For 15 years Lucy was employed at the former Raymark Industries. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim. Her interests included quilting and making bread. Lucy had a life-long passion for her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is a daughter: Judy, wife of Francis Gorny, of Pittsburgh; two sons: Rodney K., husband of Lynn C. Scott, of Manheim; Dean E. Scott of East Stroudsburg, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Pauline Hetrick of Hummelstown, and Betty Reisinger of Carlisle; and two brothers: Ralph, husband of Barbara Parks, of Shade Gap; and Glen Parks of Manheim.

Preceding her in death are four brothers: Raymond, Stanley, Samuel, and John Parks.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucy’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.
